Overview
I have been always interested in exploring new areas of design. The best learning from UX methodologies is to focus on users. I see UX as a broad field of work, and is not about creating artifacts for digital or physical channels, is about how users experience products and services in a kind of multilayered reality.
There is no one methodology
In the last 5 years, I worked with dozens of methodologies and tools. The aim is always the same: to focus on users needs. For doing so, the best tool, so far, is paper and pencil prototype, but also conducting quantitative user tests, design user's journeys, figuring out wire flows, tell your clients stories about personas but, above all, work as a real team.
